Consensus Consults to New York Department of Education


February 10, 2010 (New York, NY) … Consensus, a negotiation and conflict resolution firm, has been has been hired to consult to the New York City Department of Education.

The Manhattan based consulting firm will be working with the City’s Alternative Schools & Programs, known as “District 79”, which provides supports and programming for special needs students. Consensus has been retained to help District 79 administrators and staff develop skills around advocating for the program’s needs and for resolving conflicts that arise.

“As New Yorkers, we understand the value that District 79 brings to the City and to our youth,” says Donny Ebenstein, the Consensus partner who is heading the engagement. “We are thankful to have the opportunity to contribute in some small part.”
