 Consensus to Present at ASTD ICE2009 January 2, 2009 (New York, NY) … Consensus has been selected to present at the American Society of Training and Development’s (ASTD) International Conference & Exposition, taking place in Washington DC on May 30-June 3, 2009. Historically, ASTD’s annual conference is the Corporate Training industry’s premier event, attracting approximately 8,000-10,000 professionals from around the world. Consensus’ interactive session entitled “Practical Skills for L&D Executives” was chosen from among more than 1,500 entries by the ASTD Program Advisory Committee. “It’s always an honor to be selected to speak at ICE,” according to Michael Rosenthal, Consensus’ CEO. “The conference affords us an opportunity to address our peers, see old friends, and make new connections, and speaking [at the conference] gives us the chance to give back to the [Training] community by sharing powerful ideas with others in the field.” This year will mark the fourth time that Consensus has been asked to present at the International Conference & Exposition. “Speaking at the ASTD is always fun,” says Donny Ebenstein who oversees Consensus’ Training & Development practice. “Everyone in the audience speaks the same language since we’re all training professionals.
